What Is The Process?
Following a consultation with us, where assessments are made as to the best way to proceed specifically for you, impressions will be made and sent to the laboratory for your perfect dentures to be made. After the dentures arrive at our office we will try the fit with you, making sure they are comfortable and making any small changes until you are fully satisfied. Just like wearing a new pair of shoes, new dentures can feel awkward for a short while after fitting as you get used to the feel of them. We will always be happy to schedule follow-up appointments so that any checks and adjustments can be made to your denture.
At All Smiles Family Dentistry we also offer partial dentures, which are plates with one or more false teeth on them. Our process is similar to the full denture procedure, with the partials simply closing the gap left by missing teeth but allowing the patient to keep any remaining teeth. Partials can either be removable or fixed.
